A JR local train delayed as the driver got heat stroke

Yesterday (July 27th) a JR driver who was driving a local train said he got syndromes like those of heat stroke at a JR station in Yuza Machi, so the JR company let another driver take over driving the local train.
As a result, the local train was delayed for about fifty minutes, and about thirty passengers got affected.

According to the JR company and the firefighting station, a thirty-seven-year-old male driver was driving an outbound local train starting from Sakata and heading to Akita. At the Yuza Station of Uestu Line, the driver said he felt ill, his body shaking, etc.
Therefore, the JR company grounded this local train, and called an ambulance to send the driver to a nearby hospital.
The firefighting station said the driver had a high body temperature and sweated a lot, showing syndromes of heat stroke. Yet the condition was not life threatening.
The local train was taken over by another driver and re-started running about fifty minutes later, and the delay affected about thirty passengers.
According to the weather bureau, the observation spot in Sakata City near Yuza recorded 35.1 degree Celsius, marking the first extremely hot day this year.
