        記者採訪時得知，前年在東京都澀谷區某個巴士站毆打女性街友，造成對方死亡而遭到檢方起訴的男性被告在保釋中死亡。警視廳認為是自殺。

 

        死者是吉田和人被告(48歲)，因前年11月在東京都澀谷曲笹塚某個巴士站毆打女性街友(64歲)，造成對方死亡，故而遭到檢方依傷害致死嫌疑起訴，早前被釋放。

 

        認識吉田被告的附近居民：「(吉田被告的母親說，我家孩子被保釋)回來的事，請不要告訴任何人。我家孩子不認罪是不行的吧。」

 

        警視廳表示，吉田被告於前天早上被人發現倒在住家附近的公寓用地裡，當場被確認死亡。疑似是跳樓自殺。

 

        吉田被告當初被逮捕時，母親曾告知警視廳，吉田被告說過：「我沒想到事情會變得這麼大，媽媽對不起。」
